Hello Footbalgerians, welcome to the last sunday in September. This one needs no cape for us to call it a super Sunday! Three derbies in England, Spain, and France respectively, and other mouth watering fixtures. KPK!! (Iykyk). We really cannot wait for kick off and we do not want to bore you with long talks. So like Neymar, let us dive right into it;
ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE
The Chelsea - Manchester United twinning may just come to an end this weekend if Chelsea fail to go past Aston Villa at home. The blues will be facing a very tough opposition at home and with their goal scoring problem, we hope Stamford Bridge doesn't come falling down at full time. United squeezed a one goal lead yesterday, maybe Pochettinho will motivate his boys to do the same.
While that will be going on, Klopp and his boys will welcome David Moyes and his tool box of hammers to Anfield for a massive encounter. Liverpool are beginning to revive the hope that was once lost at the start of the season, and a win tomorrow will confirm beyond doubt that they are strong contenders for the Premier League title. David Moyes have proved a hard nut to crack for Chelsea and even Manchester City (although they broke through), we wonder if Liverpool will be successful too.
The North London derby will be massive. Against two in-form teams that are yet to lose in the league? We expect the players to fight for the glory of their team and the pride of the colours they adorn. Arteta so far has caught our hearts already. The Spurs manger on the other hand has his name beneath the shadow but he has stolen our attention through the points they amass. Spurs however need to show that they worth the points they have been gathering and that it's not luck because Arteta's boys have an arsenal with them and will unload without mercy at any time. 2:00pm (W.AT) is the time for the showdown. We will be there!
THE MADRID DERBY
Real Madrid have been struggling to retain the smooth play they had last season and the season before. No Benzema, No Vini but the team has managed to hold on to their horses, all thanks to Jude Bellingham. Atletico Madrid will be aiming to cause a major upset at the newly renovated Santiago Bernabeu after being thrashed last weekend by Valencia. Vinicius Jr is back in the squad, let's see if he will have a role to play today.
ITALIAN SERIE A
Inter is on the search for 3 points to create a gap between them and city rivals Milan. Roma battle Torino in search for their second win of the season, while Napoli take on Bologna. It seems like a mini-goal drought for our very own Osimhen. We're tipping him to get back on the score sheet against Bologna and help his team to victory. Let's see how it goes.
LE CLASSIQUE DERBY
Mbappé's PSG welcomes Auba's Marseille to the Parc Des Princes for a stunning Derby encounter. With both teams just returning from an impressive European clash during the week, it will be interesting to see how fierce the battle will be. All eyes on Mbappé, if he will single handedly save PSG as he has been doing recently, and Aubameyang to prove he still has it against the big dogs. Let's see how it goes.
