Emeka Ogwu known professionally as Mixta Marquez is Nigeria talk show host and award winning media personality, gradually rising to recognition with his articles and talk show which got one of its episodes reposted by Nigerian afro beat super star, Skales.
Dstv channel 255, Gotv channel 95; MITV has had him host a top ten music video countdown to the delight of viewers.
Mixta Marquez in a phone conversation with Davido's cousin and son of Osun state governor B-Red, he expressed his profound admiration for his songs and assured him he would keep streaming his music.
On 31st of January 2025, when DBanj visited his friend in Banana Island, Mixta Marquez was opportuned to meet with him. Dbanj was surprised at the unusual manner at which Mixta Marquez eulogiesed him, he eventually gave him wards of cash putting smiles on Mixta Marquez face.
Born into the renowned ogwu’s family of Ndokwa-West Local government division of Delta State on 8th June 1990. He began his educational career in 1993 at All saint primary School Ikorodu, which was also attended by Nigeria multi award winning music producer Sarz Beats. After which, he left for Ikorodu Oga primary school to complete his primary education.
For his secondary education , he proceeded to Keme Balogun College, Ibeshe, Ikorodu where he completed his secondary education in record of time and obtained his west African school certificate in 2005/2006 academic sessions.
A promising young student, in 2011 twenty one year old Emeka gained admission to the prestigious Lagos State University where he obtained his bachelor of science in public administration 2017. Unrelenting in his academic pursuit ,while he was in 200 level at the University, he sought admission to Gateway polytechnic on a sandwich programme at their Lagos satellite campus, where he obtained a National Diploma in Business Administration.
Since time immemorial, Mixta Marquez has also had passion for media and entertainment, he has anchored numerous events within and outside the shores of Lagos mainland and Lagos Island and had shared stage performances with notable Nigerian celebrities like Odunlade Adekola, Bovi, Reminise, Reekado banks, Helen Paul, Samclef, DJ Humility and DJ Neptune to mention just a few. Up and coming talented artists were privileged through him to perform and shared stage performances, moreover, he has put smiles on the faces of many upcoming artists by promoting their crafts on National television as well as social media platforms.
Nevertheless, on several occasions, King David Okafor, a TV host and anchor at Africa Magic has acknowledged his unusual aptitude and unparalleled passion for promoting young talents and writing articles that makes headline.
In a bid to draw a wider audience and readership of his articles in year 2020 he decided to start posting contents on Nairaland and between year 2020 till this moment, his articles has been published on top Nigerian newspapers, magazines, journals, websites and blogs.
